Securec automatic security barriers represent the pinnacle of mechanical and electronic design and provide many, many years of trouble free service. Roadside Pedestals

To compliment Securec's traffic barriers, a wide range of road side pedestals are available to suit virtually any application. Single height pedestals for cars and vans, high level pedestals for lorries, and dual-height for both cars and lorries. Pedestals are the ideal way of mounting card readers, intercoms, and keypads to make them easily accessible from any vehicle side window.

Single level and dual level light-beam barriers are available for entry control and vehicle monitoring.

Special Purpose Barriers

Securec offers an innovative and flexible approach to any vehicle access control application, and provides a custom design facility when required. A good example of this service is the development of the new award winning "Phoenix" rolling barrier. When standard barrier systems and automatic bollards had failed to meet the client's stringent requirements, Securec designed the automatic "Phoenix" rolling barrier to provide a high security solution for a very high specification application.

Safety/Close - Induction Loop

Securec barrier systems incorporate inductive loops for safety and to assist with the barrier operation. Inductive loops are located within the road surface and back-filled with hot Bitumen and are connected to the safety circuit of the control panel. This will prevent closure onto a vehicle whilst the vehicle is within the movement area. Should a vehicle pass under the arm as it closes, the arm will immediately return to the fully open position. When it is safe to do so, this loop will also generate the close signal.
